ABOUT THE BOOK
Laughter is powerful medicine--and it's just plain fun. The Laugh-a-Day Book of Bloopers, Quotes & Good Clean Jokes brings together hundreds of the funniest bits of wit and humor to brighten your day. In this book you'll find:
Bloopers like

Quotes like
"The only thing worse than hearing the alarm clock in the morning is not hearing it."
Good clean jokes like
This morning, my wife came into the kitchen and asked, "What are you doing today?"
"Nothing," I said.
Peeved, she said, "That's what you did yesterday."
I replied, "I wasn't finished."
There's something to tickle everyone's funny bone. Teachers, speakers, pastors, writers, and anyone who loves to laugh will enjoy this impressive collection of jokes, bulletin bloopers, and amusing quotes--enough for a whole year of laughter!
MY REVIEW
I will not lie: Not every joke, quote or blooper contained in this book will make you laugh. Some will make you cry! On a few occasions I found myself leaking tears from my eyes and laughing so loudly my wife came into the room with raised eyebrows wondering what on earth was wrong with me. Now, of course, it would be impossible to put together a book where every joke or blooper would make everyone laugh all the time. After all, everyone's sense of humour is very different. But Jim Kraus has done an admirable job at creating a book that is simply chock full of laughter-inducing jokes and quotes, and there is definitely something there for everyone. My absolute favourites are the bulletin-bloopers, which often left me gasping for breath after reading them! I'm glad I was not reading them in a bulletin in an actual church - I would have absolutely lost it reading the blooper in the middle of a sermon (for alas, I have been guilty of subtly perusing the bulletin during a, shall we say, slower paced sermon). The best part about this book is that it is wonderfully clean! There will be no laughing at a joke and then suddenly wishing you hadn't. These jokes are suitable to be read out loud to your significant other, to your children, to your mother-in-law, even your grandparents. In fact, I encourage you to do so!
I highly recommend this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars. Well done Jim Kraus!
