The book follows the theme of Jesus being the Son of God and being cheered into Jerusalem riding on a donkey, all the way to Jesus being betrayed, to the crucifixion and then to the resurrection. The stories come to life in a unique way, as children will add stickers to the pages and complete the different activities, whether connect the dots, doing a word search, or coloring a picture.
My 5-yr-old son has loved poring over the drawings of this book and doing the different activities! He instantly related to the book as we have been reading from the full "The Beginner's Bible" for some time. Add to that the many reusable stickers (over 50!) and all the different activities, and he has been thoroughly entertained day after day. Some of the activities he could do on his own, and some required a little guidance. But the best part is that this sticker and activity book has helped my son become intimately connected to the story, and he has learned details that he wouldn't have noticed just by having a story read to him. And from my perspective, I have to admit that my favourite part of this book is the price. At $3.99, it's hard to go wrong with a product that will teach my child about Jesus and provide days of entertainment at the same time.
I highly recommend this product for your own children or grandchildren, nieces or nephews. 5 out of 5 stars.
