MY REVIEW
The Names of God Bible is an absolutely fantastic treasure! I found reading passages in the Bible to be so much richer by knowing the name for God that was specifically used in that passage, especially in the Old Testament and in particular the Psalms. Knowing that the author was referring to God as "the Lord who heals" or "Consuming Fire" or so many other names provides a deeper understanding into God's word. I thought that the introductions to each book of the Bible were well-written, as were the devotional name pages spaced throughout the Bible. I especially appreciated the "reading paths" that have been incorporated into the Bible, allowing me to go through the Bible reading where a specific form of God's name is used, something I've never been able to do before. I must also say that although I've never read this version of the Bible (God's Word Translation), I found it clear and easy to understand and I really enjoy it.
God is so amazing, and this version of the Bible helps highlight his majesty and wonder and complexity. I will treasure it and use it for years to come.
