Perfect to grow your children's Biblical knowledge: "NIV Kids' Visual Study Bible"

Chock-full of amazing features, the "NIV Kids' Visual Study Bible" is an excellent addition to the Zonderkidz line of child-focused Bibles. In addition to containing the whole text of the New International Version of the Bible, one of the most child-friendly versions in my humble opinion, this version also includes over 700 illustrations, photos, maps and additional features that expound on particular passages. Written primarily for children aged 8-12, the Bible would also suit those learning English as a second language or even new disciples wanting a more simplified version of a study Bible to start with.

My children (aged 8, 10 and 12) absolutely adore this Bible! They, of course, love the pictures and charts scattered throughout the Bible; these not only add interest to the text my kids are reading, but are genuinely very informative at the same time. For example, one clever picture is entitled "Talk, Touch, or Spit?" and discusses the 3 primary ways Jesus heals people in the Gospels, including by spoken word, by touch and by using saliva. Such a simple picture or diagram really sticks with young readers and helps them remember things that they are reading about. Other pictures of unclean animals, coins, or ships (not to mention maps!) further aid in understanding what the Biblical authors are referencing. As a parent, I am very pleased with the care and attention that has been put into this study Bible. The authors have done an excellent job at adding information that not only increases my children's understanding of the Word, but also does so in an eye catching way that makes my children more interested in reading a Bible. That is a parent's dream indeed, as one of my greatest hopes is that my children will absolutely fall in love with the very word of God. Bibles like this are just what parents like me are looking for!

Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, god-parents - make sure you check out this excellent kid's study Bible. The child in your life will love cracking open the cover of this Bible, and may just teach you something with the things they learn while reading from the Study Bible.
